Band: Stone Temple Pilots

Song: Plush

Lyrics:

And I feel that time's a-wasting, go

So where ya going 'til tommorrow?

And I see that these are lies to come

So would you even care?

And I feel it

And I feel it

Where ya going for tommorrow?

Where ya going with the mask I found?

And I feel, and I feel

When the dogs begin to smell her

Will she smell alone?

And I feel, so much depends on the weather

So is it raining in your bedroom?

And I see, that these are the eyes of disarray

Would you even care?

And I feel it

And she feels it

Where ya going for tommorrow?

Where ya going with the mask I found?

And I feel, and I feel

When the dogs begin to smell her

Will she smell alone?

When the dogs do find her

Got time, time, to wait for tomorrow

To find it, to find it, to find it

When the dogs do find her

Got time, time, to wait for tomorrow

To find it, to find it, to find it

Where ya going for tommorrow?

Where ya going with the mask I found?

And I feel, and I feel

When the dogs begin to smell her

Will she smell alone?

When the dogs do find her

Got time, time, to wait for tomorrow

To find it, to find it, to find it

When the dogs do find her

Got time, time, to wait for tomorrow

To find it, to find it, to find it

To find it

To find it

To find it

If you let the music sink in and listen carefully, you will find differences between Weiland's and Vedder's vocal style. The range and vibrato is different and Scott's vocals are grittier.

I don't think it's will she smell alone. it's will she stand alone. when the dogs begin to smell her is a reference to when women get that sex scent. ....animals greet her different, bad boys come calling etc....but will she stand alone? can she stand strong in the face of temptation. anyway that's how my brain makes it work lol. I just now looked this up because this song plays in my head on the regular.

They have that country-rock vibe. Not like lynyrd skynyrd but, the notion that is a rock band and that gut feeling that you know the singer comes from a country background LOL do I make sense?
