A Straight cover. No ingenuity or thought at all. The fact remains, that they did not make an attempt to make it their own, add a twist-do something vaguely new-It works well. If you're into a straight clone of the original with worse vocals. If you want to see how to make a cover, how to take an old track and make it live again with a brand new life, check out Crowbar-Dream Weaver. heavier than hell, but based on an 80's Gary Wright song, and still melodic and awesome.
