Linda is just so good. The band is crap...I've always been curious about this video and audio why is it so well produced?Who filmed it and why was it filmed and the audio recorded with good such good fidelity? It's obviously not just recorded, but well EQ'd which is was rare for the even most popular bands (ie Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kinks, etc) much less a stage act like this appears to have been. Linda's voice is clear and comes through loud even over the crappy guitarist and drummer.

Poor Linda! Ms Cordially's comments are bang-on. This performance is an inadvertent demonstration of the song's fundamental conceit: Linda and the band are singing/playing to a different song! Her performance is SO good - theirs utterly woeful.

He's playing a different drum alright, more like a different song! But seriously, the problem is in the recording. We aren't hearing the full mix. Just vocal, drum, and lead guitar. The other tracks either were never laid down or for some reason never mixed into this video.
