Gordon Sumner....I really can't express in simple words the feeling that this track produces me....each day passes I'm getting a little bit older....so this is becoming almost like an Hymn for my past young ages lived. So many thanks!!

Funny how the great post has no reference to the date it came out, I wonder why that is. 1987 is the date. Your welcome.

"An early stage of the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit's production, Roger Rabbit is killed in the crossfire during the final duel with Judge Doom. Sting wrote the song “The Lazarus Heart”, to be used as the movie’s musical finale (in the version which Roger is killed)." Couldn't help having listen to this now that Bob Hoskins recently passed on, may the one and only Eddie Valiant rest in peace.

It was so sad when Roger Rabbit and this song played...oh wait that was what this song was meant for not what it was used for...silly me ;)

Sting said he wrote this song shortly after his mum passed away (1986). He had a vivid nightmare.

This song was supposed to be in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. T^T Roger was supposed to die in the end. How horrible would that have been!

Como pasan los años y sigo recordando mi niñez con mi madre y sus discos la música cuando es buena es atemporal y sigue vigente
