This is the wonderful, inspiring and gripping "The Book Of My Life" by Sting (feat. Anoushka Shankar), from his 2003 album "Sacred Love".

A big pleasure to the ear.

For the eyes, I included some photos of Sting, following him through all the different chapters of his life (or, at least those we have photos of), as well as some nice pictures which, I hope, reflect the atmosphere created in the song.

The book in question is "Broken Music", by the way, and just in case you haven't read it yet, go and get it! It's a great memoir, an exciting story told in the most beautiful words.

ps and that's an insult to midgets so I'm sorry. Just Sting is such a little tiny small empty no nothing of a pretentious stuck on himself gutless creatures. He's nothing more than a Sugar Packet of tunes.

I liked Sting in the 80s and part of the early 90s but he comes off as such a pretentious stuck on himself forktard it's not even funny. He took a very heartfelt song like "Windmills of your mind" and turned it into a shallow gutless Vas Vegas type sounding song. I mean wow he just simply violated one of planet Earths best songs and trashed it with his Shallow, Soulless, Gutless, and Empty Sugary tones. When I heard his version of Windmills I now know I have NO RESPECT for this CREEP!!!!

is Book, BROKEN MUSIC, came out in 2003 by the Dial Press. Quoting from below, it is " a great memoir, an exciting story told in the most beautiful words." STING, a former English teacher and a master at poetry has given us, me, some of our greatest modern love poetry in his lyrics. In a world increasingly hostile to ...tenderness, he has championed love's eternal flame. I am grateful.
