Apparently the Police didn't argue about much, except for how to arrange the songs - but those arguments were intense and sometimes bitter. What's fascinating here is that Sting went out and got the best sidemen possible for his solo debut, and then worked out his new approach with positive feedback from them, but also without all the bickering.10 years ago
