This classic album of Stevie's with songs like this and "Something Out of the Blue", and ones from others great artists like Marvin Gaye with "What's Going On", James Taylor's "Sweet Baby James", and Carole King's "Tapestry"....they were the perfect music for this time, turning the page from the violent, turbulent 60s and beginning a new decade with quiet & peaceful sounds. Perfect for a lazy afternoon.

A masterpiece! as the whole "Where I'm come from" album... I've been listening these songs for more than 30 years and still make me cry. Stevie was one of the biggest genius of modern music and maybe one of the best soul singers for ever more in the world. His music was specially transcendent and creative between the 70's (starting with this absolutely brilliant album) and the 80,s. At the end of that "wonderful" era, Stevie published "Songs in the key of life", his last irreplaceable work of art, really an infinite heritage for all the music history. The "Where I'm coming from" album is the rare starting of all that miracle. A rare pearl of mastering and sensitive knowledge from Stevie Wonder.

This was on the flipside of the 45 disc " If you really love me" on the Tamla Motown record label in the UK. The year was 1971 .Still remember it all those years ago. Still got the 45 as well.

The beauty of the soul well expressed in song by Stevie Wonder. Those prefer negative comments are truly lost souls in the world and are missing this beauty that even live with their soul but they just won't let it shine. What a waste.

I don't understand how a lot of his work just sits in the dust. Stevie is definitely my favorite music artist in the world. He is one of the best, besides like, Paul McCartney, and MJ (R.I.P.)
