I have been a fan for many years and Stevie has always wrote beautiful songs. What I have noticed is His voice has improved over years he is very comfortable with it. Go stevie, grandfather of modern music.

Stevie's 1980s music was just as Great as his 1960s and 1970s songs. First of all this song is excellent. Overjoyed, Parttime lovers, and the rest of this album and then in my opinion his best classic although he had many 1980s Hotter Than July. Why else was the man still increasing his Grammy collection in the 1980s.

His 80's stuff is underrated because of the absolutely insane genius of his 70's work. Artists who peak young always have a ridiculously high bar to live up to. His 80's stuff is amazing to me. The only difference I can think of is that it may take a few more listens to resonate with some ears than his 70's stuff which jumps out of the speakers and grabs your attention.

no way man the 60s and 70s songs by stevie were timeless gems...my cherie amour just one example...the 80s songs for me were just too corny..never was a big fan of 'i just called to say i love you'

I always thought Stevie wonder's 80s songs were the best

I don't think so. remember, Stevie was used extensively by major corporations to push their products. That's one reason why he seemed to always be in an experimental mode by the times the 80's hit. He had a new sound from early 80 till the 90's. But you can't deny even with the technology he managed to make timeless hits. Even when he was using the Talk Box, people complained then...and we LOVE that Stevie! lol...so it's just how the industry is...always changing. Stevie stood tough.
