This is a recording from the 1970's of a song written by Stevie Wonder titled "I Can See The Sun In Late December." Stevie never released a version of it himself, although he did give it to Roberta Flack, who recorded it in the 70's.

This is as soulful as you can get. Roberta's version can't touch it.............

I agree, KoreaMojo. I'm partial to the RF version because I heard it first, but Stevie's version is pure magic!:)

Dutch group Lucifer recorded it and had a top 15 hit with it in late 1975

I think his version is good, but the move he made giving it to Roberta to record is another testament to his genius. He knew what he was doing. If you deprive yourself of hearing what she did with it, missing Patti Austin and Deniece Williams doing backup, you're just really missing out. This was touch and somber, her's was whimsical and a bit spacey.

I have to say why isn't on a album being played by others as well as Stevie. I also have to say if you haven't listen to "When you've lost your way" please do. For that is you, but not directly. But a truth that you can understand.... I hope I do not sound to drunk. Oh well; dig it, love it, live it.
