Back in the day 1967-70 while in Junior High Bx. NY, USA we would disect songs that were played on the radio & had meaningful lyrics this song and others like "Color him Father, Patches, Eve of Destruction, Still Waters, What the world Needs Now" to name a few gave us insight into what was being sung & the messages in them. "Heaven help the man who Kicks the man who has to Crawl" friends listen closely, listen real close to these lyrics...if these 3:14 minutes of music do not affect you then you are lost. "Heaven help the boy who won't reach 21, heaven help the man who gave that boy a gun". Friends who would of thought that by 2013 we would have children being shot in schools, Grammer schools no less.
