Not one of Stevies best. Its on the setlist, and he plays it. On routine.

Earl King (February 7, 1934 – April 17, 2003.)And what better way to celebrate than post Stevie Ray Vaughan's cover of one of his songs! And Jimi Hendrix did a cover of the song as well.#dapimusic #mymusichangout #rnb #bluesrock #earlking #singersongwriter #guitarist #recordproducer #guitarslim #allentoussaint #themeters #roomfulofblues #stevierayvaughan #bornonthisday #bornonthisdate

Mad Bedlam - Live at Capitol Theater, Passaic, NJ 1985. Seldom have I heard SRV this Jacked UP! At around 3:40 he briefly covers Earl King's original guitar solo, as did Hendrix.

Dumb questions but why is half of this shows audio/video awesome and the other half lower quality ? Not that its bad but just cant figure it out and WHY WHY WHY wont Jimmie take over and start releasing this stuff commercially ? Money could go to the scholarship fund, the Communities Foundation of Texas - and not the way they are taking Hendrix and trying to squeeze every last penny just for his sister. Music was meant to be heard and shared ..............money comes last. God I miss Stevie.........

Just breaking his stride. Almost 25 years later it makes you wonder where the Music could have gone?

Now it's guitar playing like this that makes me want to throw my guitar in the trash, and take up basket weaving or something. Stevie makes it look so effortless.

A fantastically arranged piece and executed with such flair! This is good even by Stevie's standards!

Jacob Crowell

my guess is its a lenny backup since its less beat up

Jacob Crowell

yeah that confuses me cause he has like 2 or 3 guitars that all look the same. they just have different pickgaurds and some are more beat up than others

i dont think so, because on the "you'll be mine" video he is using red but in 1983 with albert king he has red just with the correct neck on it so i think this guitar is another 1 of stevies
