(Comments would be much appreciated!)
Version #3 of the 'Mirror Mirror' demo, I think the year for it is 1984. The complete version of this song became a b-side for 'Blue Denim' off Stevie's 1994 album Street Angel. I tried to find as many Rock A Little era pictures of Stevie as I could, but some may be from Tango in the Night.
Enjoy!
LYRICS
And as all this comes to an end
So goes the lilies of the valley
From this hour on
Brilliant is your danger
Darker than the image,
Darker than the image on the wall
Is the fear of it all
Never did he say 'no' to me
Mirror, mirror
Ooh, sometimes you're frightened
And you don't know why
There's been a few things
That I know you really loved a lot
Then one day
In your bright blue sky
Well, I never did say 'why' to you
Why.. . . I said 'you must know'
He said 'no, not really'
Well, some of us will
Never see the light
Some of us will only say
'Well, I don't want to fight about it'
Then one day you really fall in love
But you never said 'no' to me baby
He said 'See ya!'
'No' to me baby
He said 'See ya!'
Ooh, ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh, ooh
Mirror!
Memories fade like the wind
Oh, and she says 'no, this will never come again'
She says 'who can tell?'
He says 'oh well!'
I think that you walk a thin line
Well, I think you walk a thin line
She said 'you must know'
He said 'no, not really'
Some of us will.. . . never.. . .
I know there's a lot of things that you
I know you really wanted
I know one thing
Well, I really wanted you
Well, ask your mirror
Well, I really wanted you!
