The song is actually by Orphaned Land, a prog metal band from Israel. This is from a DVD Orphaned Land did recently called The Road to Or-Shalem, and I would totally recommend checking out their work. This is Steven Wilson performing one of Orphaned Land's old songs at one of their shows in Tel-Aviv--if I'm not mistaken they were celebrating an anniversary. Steven Wilson is fucking amazing though as well--I'd heartily recommend looking up his band Porcupine Tree.

I think he prefers this way... I don´t remember where or when I heard him saying about not being mainstream... At least he is mainstream for all his fans! One thing is a fact: he is a reference for prog. rock now days because of his work and not his fame! =D

I think i likes this way, not being mainstream. I´d love to see more respect and recognition by the music industry but.. Values r changed you know... You see Adeles and Biebers on top but true musicians like mr Wilson overshadowed.....

I think it is disgusting....that a musician as amazingly talented and brilliant as Steven Wilson, is not greeted with mainstream acclaim, and yet we have so much rubbish clogging up the charts.
