This was the first song from HCE that I heard and to be honest, it didn't exactly blow me over. I found the chuggy guitar chords on the chorus a little cheesy. But, in the context of the album as a whole, it really works and the album is just incredible. I HATE IT when fans just lap up any old crap by an artist they like. But I find it really difficult to fault SW's progression in his solo work.

People hating on this song showcase the kind of fandom Steven sadly has. He's not a prog snob (he's said it, repeatedly), and he's not looking for prog nazi fans. This is a conceptual album and the song cannot be fully appreciated without the rest of the story. That being said, I do think this song stands out for itself. I seriously don't know what "fans" are doing here if they haven't listened to the whole thing. Buy the album, guys

What a fantastic song, lyrics and melody are brilliant it has everything. And to think there is a hell of a lot of shite out there selling bucket loads and making millions for idiots like Cowell et al. I despair at the music industry in this country they will promote shit with steam coming off it if it makes them money.
