How did you get ampire to sound good? Every time I use it the guitar sounds thin and almost like it has a muffled tone when you try to play rhythm guitar with distortion.

Congratulations. I listened to Steve Vai's original version of the song and you have more feel and intensity. it's a beautiful rendition and you are a fantastic interpreter of melodies. May I suggest you look up Brett Garsed. He is on your level and understanding. Well done, I play your track over and over. Fantastic!!!!!

Thanks for the information! I'm looking to spec one out myself to order eventually. Yours certainly helped seal the deal for me to go with Carvin!

Hey there, sorry for the delay: It's a pretty standard DC400; alder body, maple neck, ebony fretboard, stainless steel frets, C22N and B pickups, Quilted top with vintage yellow finish; it's a great finish and seems to be aging well too. It's the best guitar I've played. Let me know if there's anything else! Cheers, Phil
