The changes the Vai has to make in order to make this sound good live are absolutely astounding. Compared to the original piece, its almost completely different. Same drive and main melodies and riffs, but most of the guitar cadenza stuff he did on the recording just can't be replicated in real time. Its amazing how he changes things accordingly. What dedication and hard work went into just this song is amazing. Love Vai.
