I didn't know the fan asylum, ie SPIN, was still around in any form.Huh. Well, hardcore Perry fan. :) EVERY band I've ever been in has been asked to play Journey for me as the singer :) I met Steve in 1994/95 a few times. My coolest moment ever, was the man himself walking up and asking "Haven't we met somewhere before?" I also bought ALL the old fan club stuff at that fan club thing. All the glass album covers off the wall at Nightmare productions. The ubiquitous "Escape" silkscreen, which not only do I still have; but I got it signed by Jon and Steve Smith and it hangs over my beloved Bonham drum kit as we type/read. Both Jon and Smith were very nice people, but Steve Perry is personable to the max. :) Funny, very intelligent, and kind. He sent this huge box of old Journey stuff to my house, FOC, guys! Who does that??? :) Here's the story. He invited me to get into a group photo and I put on the only child puppy eyes and said, "but Steve, you don't have any arms left :(" so we do separate pics and he whispers in my ear, "Now you get both arms." I think I was about the only one to get a full hug. No wonder I never married. How's a normal guy compete with that?? :) I could just about fall off my drum throne just thinking about it from twenty years ago! Wow. Also smells really nice, btw...:)

I love you Steve Perry. God heal and hold you in the palm of your hands thanks for such a wonderful tribute to the both of them. I just lost my 59 year old beautiful mom and best friend on June 12,2013 from a freak accident at home. The pain was and still is raw. I needed a lot of support and love to come out of "auto pilot" she went home to see my nana,her mom the day before my late nana's bday and it's not something that you get over. It's a process of healing and learning a new way to live the way they would want us to live in your heart. God showed me,my daughters,brother and husband that Mom is very much alive but not in physical form.
