There are a million guys out there shreddin' and they all run together, but you can here an Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, or a Carlos Santana play one single note and you immediately know who it is. Now that's awesome!

Holy hell this is one of my very favorite Satriani solos. That was astounding.

@RootsinBrooklyn What you dont realize is that satch is enertaining an audience. It may be a million notes and playing with teeth and all that. But that is show biz isnt it? You have to entertain first and formost.

the trouble with guys that can play a gozillion notes a million miles an hour is that they tend to do it all the time and think its music. give me a guy like david gilmore that knows why that one perfect note goes right there and why there is an empty spot here and there. just mho

@djohnsonracing I saw Steve back in '76 or '77 in San Diego. Norton opened for him. Didn't know who the hell he was before the show, but I never forgot who he was afterward. Didn't know he passed. All the good ones do.

Maybe I'm off on this one but Steve reminds me of Russel Crowe...lol...I swear, well, you know, except Russell's probably not a music legend.

they also played Cat's Squirrel right after crossroads btw. It's sweet to hear steve miller playing some Cream classics...well, the songs that they made immortal anyways even though they didnt actually write the lyrics to them.

1. put your finger on your nose 2. hold your breath for 5 seconds 3. say the name of your love 4. that person will ask you out on the next Friday 5. you will have the best day tomorrow 6. if you don't copy and paste to 2 other videos you will have bad luck and die in 2 days deepest apologies, but I'm a tad superstitious. sorry
