Love the song, not a fan of the vocalist, though I think him a good vocalist. I don't know 'Arry personally, but this could simply be a reasonable/responsible way to play close up and personal. The reality is, if Maiden were booked here at the Whiskey or Troubador or such, traffic would be blocked for miles. He must miss the intimacy of the club where you can talk to a handful of people before and after without a huge spectacle.It sounds like Maiden because he IS Maiden. I'm glad to see he didn't jump in with a group of kids in order to appeal to a new demographic or pretend he's at an age that he isn't. He's who I emulated growing up playing bass in the 80's and his style is extremely apparent in my playing. Why not copy the best?

I agree with everybody else. Vocals have no dynamics at all. The chorus should be epic and have power, but he sings in the exact same crappy falsetto tone he uses through the whole song. Otherwise, a fairly decent song.
