I'm from Michigan. I like playing with the lighter sticks, but then I find that they're so much easier to snap in half lol (Mostly referring to 7As and the likes). The Gadd sticks seem to be able to withstand a little more of a beating. I do like the Weckl sticks, as well. I'll have to look into the Louis Bellson, Steve Smiths, and Carmine Appice signature sticks.

Where are you guys from? I had his sticks in high school or at least college. That was like 30 years ago. Prefer Louis Bellson or Steve Smiths or Carmine Appice. gadd and weckls just don't feel right. Kinda heavy for being so thin.

Not sure what country you're in, but I live in the U.S. (Michigan) and Guitar Center sells them. Otherwise you might be able to pick them up from Vic Firth's website

He has signature sticks through Vic Firth. I use em; they have a great feel and the black color looks sleek. :)
