I love the album version but prefer this live version. Also check out Steve's version of Colorado Girl on Letterman, June 2009 I think. It's faster than the Townes album version, probably to fit in with the TV timing and in my opinion is better. Last year in Cardiff, Steve said he is touring the UK with Alison & The Dukes sometime later this year. Check out the Unofficial Steve Earle fan site for dates.

How do you play it?? It's only a couple notes...

@HackerGuitarist She ripped lyrics and this general chord progression from Steve. She later admitted it and said that she was listening to a lot of Steve Earle when she wrote Kerosine. I'm pretty sure that's how the story goes. My memory is a bit fuzzy. Steve came first though.

I think this is the first song of his I heard after he got out of prison. "I've been to hell and now I'm back again." Hell ya!

The guy on his right, our left, is Scott Miller. He`s on his on now, and one of the best song writers around. Check him out! He`s good!

Steve himself admitted it sounded exactly like Gloira and his response was "why not? Its a great riff!"

Loved the song on The Wire, can someone rip that as it was a better production version than this. Great song and worked so well with The wire show.

This featured on an American show called The Wire and I loved it then, I cant tell you how long I have been trying to find this tune, thanks ever so much pal.....excellent, true class NB Steve Earle also was in the show as a recovered Heroine addict, which I think he is in real life, brilliant show, I recomment it
