There used to be a 20min clip of this performance on here. I've been looking for it for a long time. Any links would be very much appreciated. Sound :-)

Unless you were there, I don't think you can be sure. Steve says it was over billing. I expect the truth is somewhere in between - but Del's version is that he was worried about what more conservative bluegrass fans thought. He didn't say he was personally offended. Del himself is not conservative himself and not that much older than Steve.

Also, The Bluegrass Dukes, who came out to finish this tour after Del left, are amazing as well. Tim O'Brien, Darrel Scott, Casey Driessen & Dennis Crouch!! I seen both bands & really like them both but The Bluegrass Dukes had more soul than The Del McCoury Band. I've seen Del & The Boys alot & they're great but with Steve Earle it seemed that Del was just hoping it would end soon...

Del din't "break up the relationship" because of billing, he didn't like that Steve Earle said "fuck" over & over again on stage. I love Steve Earle & Del McCoury but he could've chilled his mouth a bit for the old guy. Please don't take this comment the wrong way, as I LOVE Steve Earle. I named my child after the man. He is the greatest songwriter of my generation but art is art & respect for your elders shouldn't take a back seat & neither should communication with your band mates?

True, but I have read interviews where he said he would like to do another bluegrass album. He mentioned the Punch Brothers as possible collaborators. Still just the idea stage. I would love to hear it, but one of the things I love about him is his interest in different forms of music. Would love to hear him do a blues album as well.

He doesn't want to be a full time bluegrass musician. Much like Neil Young, he follows the muse. Also, Del broke up that relationship, not Steve. Del didn't like the fact that Steve got top billing.

One of the best CDs I have. Every song on the CD is great. How I wish Earle was not such a DIP. He could have been great for Bluegrass Folk music.

No kidding, they were both at HSB 2012 in SF, CA and there was no sit in. I was really hoping. But either way Del and Steve killed both shows.

@Mouldytone Thank you very much for your reply. I'll do a search, see if I can find it. Otherwise, I guess I can still watch the clips here! :)

@diegopc79 Hello. All of my channel uploads were done specifically because I couldn`t find them commercially available to purchase. This clip was recorded off a TV presentation of the Sony Music sponsored show "Sessions At West 54th". There are some DVDs from the series available but as far as I know this particular show isn`t available. Do an internet search of "Sessions at West 54th" and good luck! Tony
