OK; take 2. I tried this over at the K-POP vids and it didn't go over real well. But I'll try again. When I notice that the band is oriental, I think about oriental music. Music that uses 10 tones in the scale as opposed to European based music (which is what this is)with 12 steps in a scale.60 years ago when Jimmi Hendrix raped the freakin' crap out of a Fender Strat, with every knob on his Marshall cranked to ten, he changed music forever. We're still floating in the wake that followed him. When Randy Rhoads went to the history book and pulled out those diminished, half diminished and whole tone scales that hadn't really been used that way before, he influenced what I just listened to here.In the music kingdom, the one that comes up with a new lick gets to wear the crown for a day. I would love to hear some ten tone scale oriental music. I would like to hear some bold, innovative individual who was jacked enough to actually take their axe to the luthor and have him saw two frets off of it. Play this style of music, but in ten tone Oriental. Same video, same drums, same tempo same everything, except just play in it a different key signature. One with ten tones. Oriental.Some of the bends in the vocals almost get it, but they're gonna have to chisel those extra keys off of the keyboards to really pull it off..My goal is that the somebody in a band might actually try it. I know this is not a good way to contact this actual band butOk then, a more provocative try: On the other hand it is a good thing that the Asians are abandoning their heritage and culture. I mean listening to this song proves that we already kicked their asses in music. That's why they went running from that crap oriental sounding music and play real American USA metal. I mean if I was one of them, I would want to change into an American too.Of course that was sarcasm. I'm glad there is more than one flavor of food and more than one color of shirt to wear.
