Cobra was the most under appreciated CD by the Groop, an absolute masterpiece. The critics just didn't get it...and it's not important that they do. A sad song for me, as it was their closing tune at the Boston, MA show. I knew it would be the last time I'd see them together live. The tension was evident, like when Tim stopped a song that was not being played to his satisfaction. Also saw 1 show in Philly & the 3 at Irving Plaza, NYC, before Boston. I'm not upset Stereolab is done, but I'm truly saddened that Monade didn't continue. There was such promise to that group, but I'm loving Seaya's solo stuff.
