A lot comment on the use of lip-sync in Steps gigs. They can sing live and sound good, but *any* dance-based show involves some amount of singing along to a tape or backup vocalists in the backing band- even the greats such as Madonna have to. There's too much physical exertion required by the dance moves to put in a full blown vocal performance on every song!
