Steppenwolf is one of the best bands I know, it certainly is even on the top 3 with The Doors, Jimi Hendrix Experience. Kay's voice and the texts just make this band a milestone in rock music.

I remember this song quite well. Slow Flux marked the "return" of the 'Wolf after a brief breakup. I was in a dead end job at the time. '74, Driving to that miserable warehouse in the mornings of crowded roads with this song in my head just motivated me to get out. .ASAP. I owe John Kay for that. But more importantly, I just loved his voice and their sound. Long live Steppenwolf.
