Here it is...for me, it's the holy grail...the golden fleece...the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Looks like this is the real McCoy!!! Keith...they're aren't words to express the gratitude I feel. Thank-you will have to do for now....at least I can now die a happy man!

"Old Times Good Times" is a different song entirely, appearing on Stephan Still's first solo album with credit given to Jimi for guitar track

Stephen talks about it @ musicradar.com when he's discussing his "Carry On" set.... It had been called the "No Name Jam" and "Jimi Jam"..... These guys did alot of stuff together.

Yeah, folks. This is Stills & Hendrix. It's mentioned in the newest box set of Stephen Stills, I believe. This was just a jam, and, as someone else mentioned, Jimi loved jamming with Stills.

you're joking. Right? I mean, the tracks are all screwed up, but that's Hendrix and Stills. Not nearly there greatest trade off, but, alas, it is. demo sh,t. fun to check out. don't take it seriously. if it worked, it would have made the album.

They could've done with only one of the vocal tracks. Stills has a pretty soulful voice.

Wow...interesting. Had no idea Hendrix and Stills actually played anything together, even if they got big in the same era. Super cool. And for all you snobs that want to nitpick a prelimimary studio out-take, just shut up and let the rest of us enjoy,

This is probably the song that Stills has referred as the one that he never finished, especially lyric-wise.

Whatever, this version is totally unmixed, meaning, Jimi has played several takes of lead guitar tracks here that, of course, were not supposed to be played all at the same time, but the best parts were to be selected later in the mixing stage. This is very usual way of recording, especially when you're just improvising stuff. Likewise, all 2 or 3 Stills's vocal takes are all "on" at the same time, they would have later edited the best parts for one single vocal track.

jeez people, have you ever heard jimi play? If you have, you would recognize his playing from the very first note he's playing here. Probably the most recognizable guitarist in history.
