G Note

4rd frets were the first frets made on an assembly line. Revolutionized industrial guitar making.

And, may I add to my own comment a year ago, what a beautiful use of space in that solo!!

IWhat Steve and Neil created together and could continue to create if they both weren't such divas. (No, I really don't think it has to do with "artistic integrity.")

Thanks, Herve. I was trying to figure out the G, too. Gives it almost a Creole sound. (I'm in Nicaragua.)

One of my favorite acoustic songs by Stephen Stills beautifully performed here by him as recently as 2011 - and, wow, what a beautiful guitar solo! The man's obviously still got it! In his own words " long may he run" indeed!!! Stephen you're the best, man!

What is a 4rd fret? :')

Regular tunig G C Dm7 / Em C for the chorus. He uses his thumb on the 4rd fret on the G chord

What kind of tuning is that? I see the c and the f and the other must be a g and a Em but the way he's doing the G is interesting.

Good to see he lost a lot of weight.

My favorite Stills song of all time. I was sitting back to back of the gent (well back to back of his lady friend) who shot this video. Witnessed the "Stills High Five" too !!! Nice , thanks for capturing this.

Thanks for posting this, fellow Shore member! Beautiful song, beautiful sound also. It's like he's in the room with me. Sounds like he's being kind to his throat.
