Beautiful tune by Stephen Duffy, released under the name Duffy in 1998. B-side of single '17', which got nowhere near the charts. Stephen Duffy has since made a fortune writing songs with Robbie Williams. Duffy's music, both as a solo artist and part of his band The Lilac Time is definitely worth checking out.

Most of the b-sides of the aborted 17 single were added to the reissue of the I Love My Friends album CD. As often Stephen hid gems like this. A beautiful song.12 years ago

The duet with Diane Tell (same song) that came out prior to this version is much better. His voice was the reason this one never made it to the charts, he might be able to right but he can't sing that well and this version sounds a bit draggy .16 years ago
