The lead guitar on this cut is Walter Becker at his best. He's no fretboard athlete and doesn't pretend to be, but what he lacks in blazing chops he makes up for in good taste plus an ear for what the song needs from his part. A lot of "gunslinger" lead players could take a lesson from him about playing with a song instead of trampling all over it in combat boots.
