Well said, hunterszen!!! Mili has overcome so much & thank God he's still with us after that horrible accident on 10/31/92!!! So many others would just give up but Mili hung in there. He had the world at his fingertips & lost it all in that accident but he came back & is still making music. Times change & artists grow & a true fan would know that! God bless Mili & long live Steelheart!!!

@redman2500 actually I think he is simply stuck in a time and is afraid to move forward.. we all can go back and listen to those songs.. I have such GratiTiTUDE that we now have these to add.

Pearls to the swine... a fan would know the rest of the story and then hear the words of the artist and where they come from... for a soul to claw their way back fighting for every breath along the way... goes through some evolving. Inspired beyond words as I am living the same journey, be blessed you know not the way he has walked and give thanks that his musical genius is being gifted to us still. you guys are so hung up on the early Steelheart that you don't even give new stuff a chance...it's pathetic I'm sorry. this album was meant to share the experiences of Mili, not to follow what you people want. I think that factor of what people want plays a major role in how most music is today...artists can't just act like desperate little dogs and make songs according to what their fans want them to do, they have to feel it and have a personal connection with their music. leave them alone.

I've just listend to the Good 2B alive album. This makes me wanna cry. Steelheart that used to be such a great fuckin band! All i hear is some kind of fuckin new metal shit.. this REALLY makes me sad. STEELHEART 1990-1996 FOREVER<3 :(

.. and yes his voice will always be great, that is something people agree on, I think. He could sing the Arby's value menu, with an acoustic guitar, and it would be decent. Having said that, this tune "Shine A Light For Me" has it's catchy moments

Amanda - I've figured out now you're missing the point, of people .. We're all Mili's fans ... we know he is unbelievably talented singer, and writer .. but we think it isn't necessary to sound like 'the times' to put out a great CD. He did, when he finalized the record, and has said so in interviews. As example I don't just support a friend when they're not entirely doing the 'right thing' .. but I'm still their friend

Mikes voice has gotten deeper a raspier. He sounds very good, but I wonder can he still hit those super high notes.
