I went to the corner store and bought 2 big burritos and chocolate milk. I am now sitting down eating this meal while listening to this.

Alot of people will say that this is not as refined and technically perfected like his later work but I think this is dynamic and so exciting to listen to. Its like he is tying to build a empire out of notes here.

Yngwie sounded so new and raw here

A fucking genius at solo showcasing and a legend but his rhythm riff chops are really basic .

He is great through every Era .Today between songs he has little pieces he plays ,like "Echo Etude" ..And his acoustic intro to Seventh Sign" It is all very organized . Gone are the days of him just Noodling for 15minutes with no band ,because he feels like warming up more in the middle of the set !!! Like back in 85 when I saw him on tour with AcdC . That was in an arena not at a small club . I love the Alchemy album .Check out the song STAND . the guitar is really good ,like the guitar in ,BLACK STAR

I believe yngwie had the most command of his ferocity as a youngster ..He was just flawless and so incredibly musical that it leaves you wondering was there ever a time he couldn't play he is totally on fire here!! And listen to him in Alcatraz it is mind blowing still to think he was 19

I saw Yngwie & Steeler back in 82 and he blew our ever-lovin minds! Never saw anyone with the command of electric guitar such as him (Van Halen, Alan Hallsworth aside).

Ygnwie has gotten WAY better than his Steeler and Alcatrazz days. Compare his solos today vs. this. And he tunes down and his tone now, sounds wicked thru Marshall stacks. In 1983 you had some hair metal shredders, and you had Yngwie!
