Marvellous Rick,One of the reasons to get involved with guitar playing is to have as much good feeling as possible and Ricks playing always have the enjoyment thing about it.Bullocks to the 3 chord non-sense, have you ever like a song more just because it had 4 chords ??Thing is, there 3 or 4 different elements of competent guitar playing shown here that take time and skill to master, and believe me Rick is THE master..... love the bloke....

Its rick open G tuning , the difference is that rick tunes the 6th string up G!. And the mighty tramlines string .14 to .56.
