I worked for Static-X for a night back in 07 on the tour where Nick had broken his hand. I went there to see the show and the stage manger saw me and pulled me into service during the opener. I ended up watching from behind the board with Nick so the perspective in this video is pretty familiar. I was blown away by their live show and will always remember that night. Wayne was an innovator in this genre and will truly be missed.

THE INTRO IS WHERE NIKI CAME FROM...believe it or not....he played for a band in las vegas....learning heart and soul from a guy named mike reviera....I was a young guitar player and have actually played country music with niki....he gave my little brother drum lessons years ago....I learned everything I could from mike...and so did niki...I wish I still knew the both of them.....niki was awesome...he would go out and rock with his dreads and later he would go tex-mex with mike all cowboyed out....SORRY NIKI DONT GET MAD IF IT WAS A SECRET! lol your still one of the most badass drummers ive ever seen....goo for you man.....and to everyone else...this is all true...this guy not only plays amazing metal....he can play ANYTHING!
