i first saw this video like 4 years ago. since then i've made sure never to click on this version of the song on youtube, because it was just too painful. but for some reason, today, as it rains hard outside of my bedroom window, i wanted to feel that pain. i wanted to feel connected to someone else through loss. i hope this doesnt sound morbid to anyone, its meant to be uplifting. i have been closed off for a very long time. today, i felt like opening up.as a side note, i am impressed with how your daughter paints with such purpose, you can see the concentration on her face. i hope she is doing art these days. ive never seen a child paint a picture with such intent before. she seems incredible.
