Stan should have been bigger than he is . A unique and singular voice.

At 4:55 it sounds kind of like My Morning Jacket's "One Big Holiday". Saw both MMJ and Stan live this year too!

Awesome job doing this song. As good as studio. This audience is damn lucky. They better APPRECIATE The Legend that is performing before them. 100 stars. Big Heat is awesome.

This is an incredible find. Thanks very much for posting this. I didn't know he did the Whistle Test. Shame they did not include on their DVD compilation couple of years ago!

You thought Celtic Frost's Mexican radio was their original? Your making me feel old!!! That song was a huge hit in Southern California in 1984-85. It was played on KROQ constantly as well as heavy music video rotation. I hope you dont think, "Monatheist" is Celtic Frost's first album. There best stuff is the first stuff they put out around 1984. "Morbid Tales", "Into the Pandemonium" and a few others are incredible. Just stay away from "Cold Lake"

Yeah, Bramb, I meant what year was this, really. I thought around 86 like you said. My biggest surprise was that Wall of Voodoo did the original Mexican Radio. The only version of Mexican Radio I'd heard previously was by a Metal band called Celtic Frost(1987). Some of the stuff you learn eh! Two months ago I'd only heard of Camouflage.

I'm having a great time discovering more Stan songs. Only heard Camouflage before this, which i love by the way. Was this performed roughly the same time, anyone know?
