From the CD "Classic Blue" ,1989

This is Justin Hayward´s remarkable version of this great song. - and a video of my holidays in the bavarian Alps (Wimbachklamm, behind the Watzmann) with my wife in 1996.

This old VHS material is not in best quality but it comes good with this song, in my opinion.

Justin needs all the Moodies to back him on this and turn it into a MB song.

This is the only song Justin should not sing...not because he doesn't have the voice but this song belongs to Robert Plant and only Robert Plant can give it the soul it deserves and the anguish which this song is all about. I love Justin but you can not sugar coat this song...not even him.

This was well done!!! and the scenery was just breathtaking (I'm Austrian). I love Heart's version as well, Nancy Wilson is powerful. This and Vincent are the only two songs I know of that Justin has ever performed, that he did not write himself. Bravo!!

This sounds like what I would imagine it would sound like if Ian Anderson sang it.

Maybe if the Kennedy Center honors the Moodies that could happen. Hmmm, interesting idea.

Still, the originals are the best. What was Mike Batt's contribution?
