I have just seen them live in Bath. Brilliant and I agree with other comments on here - can't understand why they don't receive greater recognition. Musical integrity in abundance.

What a great track and performance by these guys! I first heard them in 1975 on their album Man In The Bowler Hat and they've still got that magic 35 years later! The lead singer, Andy Davis, was a musician on John Lennon's "Imagine" album in '71 and that influence on this song is screaming Beatles (and the Sgt. Pepper sound, in particular)! I can't think of another band who is continuing the Fab Four spirit as well as Stackridge. Spread the word about Stackridge...this is awesome music!

Magnificent Song... Red Squirrel - funky allegorical tales of the undergrowth with a dark McCarthey era theme ! You must see this band LIVE befor they become the soundtrack kings for modern filmakers. Do I detect subliminal references to Another Brick in the Wall ?

Why oh why is this band not better known? This whole album is brilliant. Knocked me off my feet and I have seen them many times. When you listen to what is actually successful these days, well I can't possible imagine what the band members must be thinking (down in deepest Nempnett Thrubwell ...).
