Wonderful song. Wonderful album. Not so wonderful that Fincher is so prominent these days. He has to be, next to Lucas and Simon Rattle, one of the most overrated "artists" in recent memory. Not so wonderful either that more aren't aware of this song and the album it was on. Love Rich Nevens wonderful guitar throughout.

I just stumbled across this single as I was going through a bunch of old 45s. Great song... reminds me a lot of the underrated first Mr. Mister album with its keyboards, guitar effects, and even some of the vocals. And since I also just remembered it was on an old Columbia Records radio promo compilation I have, this is going straight onto the ipod, so I don't have to wait another 25 years to hear it again! So happy I rediscovered it...

I was once in a bar of my hometown of Jerseyville Illinois and ask a girl to go out to my car to partake in some "recreational inhaling" and I put this song on the ole C.D. player and she freaked on me. Seems she only heard this song one time, and that one time was when she was In the back of her boyfriends car losing her virginity. She never knew what the song was called or who played it, so I showed her the cover and found out a few weeks later she went out the next day and got it. One of those great tunes not everybody has heard.
