I don't know if anybody here has seen the movie, "Escape from Alcatraz," starring Clint Eastwood. It's a dramatization of the real-life escape from the maximum security prison on Alcatraz island, by Frank Morris, who is played by Clint Eastwood. There's a scene in the movie where Frank Morris (Clint) ventures out through a hole he has dug in the wall in his cell so he could escape---long story---and he uses a mannequin head he made to substitute for his own in his bed, so when the night-watch does his nightly patrol it would appear as if he was still in his bed. In this one particular scene, Clint ventures out through the hole in his cell to make headway on his escape plan, which at that point in the movie was still being developed/hatched.While he's out of his cell, inside the walls of the prison, the night-watch comes to do his nightly patrol on his cell-block. As he approaches Clint's cell he looks inside and gives it a casual inspection. He looks for a bit at the mannequin head as he strolls past the cell, something catches his eye about it, though, and he becomes more curious and begins to inspect it more closely, still not realizing it's a mannequins head. He eventually reaches his hand slowly through the cell bars to touch the hair on the head. It's at this point you're thinkin' to yourself, "Shit, he's caught, that's it..." but low-and-behold when he touches the hair, Clint Eastwood's head pops-up. He had made it back to his cell just in time. It really gets you, though---great suspense. When the night-watch guy comes to check on the little girl and he knocks over the teddy bear and what looks like the little girls head, upright next to the bears, it reminded me of that scene.Ever since that horror movie, "The Ring," which I haven't seen but I've seen clips from the movie, whenever I'm watching a scene where there's a television-set and what looks like a small-female Asian child with long jet-black hair, in the back of my head I'm always thinking: "...yeah, that's a ghost." :)(#scary things)

O_o "Koko wa doko?" means something like "what is this place?" or "where am i?" essentially... not "completely lost"... and it looks like the night orderly / guard mouths "go to bed" a few times, but is overdubbed with Japanese... only to be subtitled in English as "go to bed"!Is this intentional? Like... it's supposed to create an unsettling nature of nothing matching up? Or am I just overthinking it?
