there's a few hidden gems on this album......have a listen to this song. play it 5 times in a row and it will open out. this is a fantastic song....definitely on my radio station. day 2888. 2 x 2 x 2 x 19 x 19. only figs and urine and pure water til 5:00pm then fresh fruit then usual foods at 7:30pm. no change.

I hope you don't mind but I checked your YouTube address and note you come the States. Well I have some good news for you. I saw George Thorogood and The Destroyers over here (NZ) in the Dunedin Town Hall on December 8th 1985. What a gig! Georgie Boy rocked that townhall until the walls started moving from side to side. For my apart, I agree with this. It's always been my favorite Split Enz tune but it sounded so horribly anemic. At first I didn't like the new mix at all but I've done a 180 since.

Have to totally disagree. It enhanced the guitar. I was so sick and tired with weak sounding guitar in nearly all Kiwi bands around this era and I'm a Kiwi. Australian bands were way better than Kiwi bands in this area. Essentially that was the difference between Australian and Kiwi bands of the era. Split Enz never really appealed to me except for this song because it had MEAT to it with that heavier rhythm guitar sound and awesome bass to accompany it. It's why I preferred The Angels & others
