Really? I think this is her best sounding album. I really wish that hey went with a harder, dance-tone on the mix.

The backing track's kinda generic a bit, but the lyrics really pull everything together. Very powerful, although I feel that the instrumental should be a little more dramatic and less hip-hop.

This is Mel B's favorite song. According to her interview to Perez three days ago :)

Only the girls really know...I'm as a fan could only guess. Well, Spice Girls confirmed publicly Goodbye was for Geri, but back then in 1998, I remember Melanie C once said that Goodbye wasn't just talking about Geri, but was also about the Spice Girls after all the Spiceworld tour, the overexposeure they were dealing back then. But the girls are still the best of friends and what's past is done and I'm glad to see them at the Olympics last year, Viva Forever, Spicies!

yeah that's what I meant, I think I mis-organizeed what I said. Geri is the copycat. What I meant was that there were still conflicts after the forever album.

Actually, Victoria Beckham's video with the bad/good girl theme was shot before Geri's even if it was published 2 months after.

actually no, Goodbye and this song are the only ones confirmed to be about Geri. Also Geri had conflicts in 2001 with victoria cos she stole her ideas for a music video so they actually didn't forgive her until a few years later. and I think Mel B only forgave her in 2007 for the tour.

@tommyloika and don't forget the 'Let Love Lead The Way' was also for Geri. They forgave her at the end of the day.

"Tell Me Why" was written by Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and various other writers. Melanie C was not invloved with the writing of this song due to scheduling conflicts with her solo album, Northern Star. The song is about the remaining Spice Girls' frustration after ex-bandmate, Geri Halliwell, left the group.
