After seeing this entire episode recently, I have to say that I kinda wished their record company had them do "true" instead of "revenge." I know that wasn't the LP they were promo'ing, but being that "true" was a black crossover single (and that SB prolly would never do ST again), i feel it would've made more sense. Regardless, super happy one of my favorite groups ended up on my favorite tv show in the world. love the crowd shot pans. thank you for sharing!

When I was a kid way back in 1984 or 1985 (most likely 1984) they performed "Only When You Leave" and as an avid soul music fan I was appalled because that's straight-up "pop" on my "Soul Train"! Since then my musical tastes have changed especially after living in England for three years.
