Sometimes I listen to this song and vow to make changes in my life and be a better person for all those who care for me...........sometimes.... sometimes I just cry...probably in either confusion or despair but im not sure....

Grew up 12 miles from Rugby in the ‘80s, had no idea that such incredible music was being made so close to home. I’m just glad I discovered it eventually...

ConfineHere again. I waited. Time swam. Time always swims and time always smiles at itself and at you. Time-- our name for what can’t be tamed or measured. Here again. Where? The edge of eternal darkness. Waiting for gray light to burn my dreams. Hold on and don’t cry out. Silence again. One day, two weeks, three years. Here again. I waited. I watched your soul waver and cry out. It wanted to leave you. Wanted to leave its confinement. Let’s leave our confinement. Abandon our confinement.

The Sprawl

I think Playing With Fire is the greatest heroin album ever made. Listen to Sonic Boom's songs on that album and tell me there's ever been music that sounded more like being strung out than that. You don't want to listen to it while strung out though. It's like putting a second pair of glasses on over a first pair.Everyone should do themselves a favour and go out and buy Perfect Prescription, Playing With Fire and Recurring, and listen to them in that order. You'll hear one of the best psych bands of all-time at their peak, and you'll hear one of the greatest songwriters on the last thirty years slowly maturing and coming up with some of his best songs. And you'll hear them falling apart at the same time too. You can't have one without the other.

If they'd played stuff like this in church I might not be an atheist. But, as they say, the devil has all the best tunes. And jokes, and films, and books, etc.

I don't need drugs to get high anymore, and it's MUCH better.

Very calming, but with a sad tone. It will remind you of the love ones you miss. like what it's doing for me right now.
