Live music video of the boys with Ant on lead vocals on Brazilian MTV from my video collection.

I've been a longtime female fan of these guys since I was 15 ^_^

I first saw them live at Ziggy's in Winston Salem, NC in May of 96' when they opened for Marry Me Jane and Bigmouth, I saw the guys watching the other bands on stage even saw Roy sitting on the couch while the rest of the guys were off doing something while despite my drunken lush of an aunt Robin while using this Jeff Foxworthy lookalike like a plaything while me being a kid at the time I was having too much fun watching the show!

Heres the setlist (they are not in excact order) for Ziggys at Winston Salem

To Be A Millionare...Was It Likely?

They played the Summerland Tour with Tracey Bonham, Everclear and 7 Year Bitch which I didn't get to go because I was stood up they were playing in NC again that was in July at a court house in Winston Salem all I could do is listen to the interviews that I taped off of the radio with Tracy Bonham and Antony Langdon getting interviewed by the DJ's...Tracy was keeping all of the guys in line thoughout the tour LOL One of the guys in the band was getting their hair dyed along with a haircut that was decribed a cross between The Monkees and The Partridge Family. The Dj's at the radio station(now ceased to be) 9.45 The Rock Alternative those were the good old days when they actually played good music and did comedy musical rutines. these guys at the radio station at the time had a band called Goober Says Hey playing a charity event at Ziggy's after the show, Antony was keeping everybody laughing and This was around the time they had a spread in Rolling Stone, he goes to them "Spacehog will fully endorse it we'll be there in full drag!" LOL

Roy who once played bass with his little brother's Chris' band Cube and The Lemonheads(with Evan Dando) was in a band after Spacehog called Sparticle then changed to The Quick that was later changed to The Tender Trio with former members of Blind Melon.

In this Spacehog video, Jonny is sporting a mohawk I use to hear stories about him back in the 90s during the recording of Resident Alien in Woodstock, NY of him in the field mediatating in the nuse also before a Red Hot Chili Peppers (they have asked them to open up with them) show Jonny ran across the stage before the Red Hot Chili Peppers came on streaking! This video is straight from my video collection here's a list of bands these boys have been in:

Royston a native of Leeds, England. At the age of 7 alongside his brother Antony they were singing at the Leeds Parish Church choir and then formed many bands of their own like The Razberry Holiday Band and Blue Moscow with his brother Ant. At age 11(or 14) joined a band called RVATS, he said he wrote a song called "I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night" (all I could think of is the Electric Prunes with that song maybe that was tended to be a joke?) After that . Then met rest of the crew Jonny (who was killing rats in the basement working at at coffee shop in NY's East Village)to be in Spacehog.

Antony also a native of Leeds, was in a lot of bands with Roy....came over to NY(he said his inspiration was Neil Diamond's America) because he was following a girl over here before joining the band. He did some directorial work on some Spacehog videos and Clowns for Progress even appeared with his friend Joquain Phoenix in a PETA commericial and once dated Tracey Bonham and Kate Moss.

Jonny Cragg: The drummer...he was in The Hollowmen, did sessions for the Utah Saints and was in the band the Twenty Twos.

Richard Steel - The guitarist, he was in Ghost Dance and Morningwood.

They are a blast to see live when you get the chance to see them whatever their projects are and when this song use to be played live the crowd goes nuts!

Here's a new Hog site! (Thanks Captain Freeman)

Ant looks way too much like my old man when he was younger (may he spend the rest of eternity burning in hell). -Ssg.Schweigert
