i know that there was a different video that was apparently shot by mary lou lord.... it looks like it's from the same show as this and there a few other videos from presumably the same show too.... can anyone confirm that? did mary record all of these shots?

Elliott lived in Dallas till he was 14. Then he moved in with his dad Gary & step-mom in Portland. He was born in Nebraska & his folks split soon after his birth. He didnt speak with a southern accent. and he wasn't on heroin, this show is 1995. He didnt get into heroin & crack until post figure 8.

Also, I'm surprised more people don't realize that (again) this song is about his step dad and mom. Just because he spent so much time in Portland, everyone seems to forget that he grew up in the south and his parents are southern. Hell, he says y'all all the time if you listen to him talk. He even says "peein'" and "yella" at the beginning of this video. I wouldn't have you how you want? I mean, come on, it's obvious what he's talking about, isn't it? It always has been for me at least.
