This song went through many transitions throughout 2005. Chris had the lyrics wrote for a while and used to make it away messages and shit back in the day. He brought versions of the song to us that we kept rejecting and to be totally honest, this song was one that definitely fueled a musical divide between all of us. writing sessions for this song were absolutely tense. The key of the song was changed a few times, me and chris wound up finishing a 'would be' final structure idea with our friend Escobar on guitar just because Esco would shutup and play so we could work on the tune. haha! Now after that we then took the song back to the full band and once again, we went at it haha.. however those sessions were very productive and some really great things happened. Everyone put their 2 (or 5) cents in and this wound up being a lot of peoples favorite number on the record.
