Flower Music Video. Best quality I've ever seen on this video. Both image and soundwise. Hope you guys enjoy!

Along her vain parade

Along her veins

All of seventeen

Eyes a purple green

Treated like a queen

She was on borrowed self-esteem

She would do her dance

A painful masquerade

Spinning you into her web

Along her vain parade

In her uniform

Studded brass and steel

Kissing napkin lipstick stains

And smearing sincerity

Along her vain parade

Along her veins

Time crept up on her

She's early gray

Her reflection looks concerned

And flowers hit her grave

Hiro Yamamoto, wish he would've stuck around. he wrote some of the heaviest of their early songs and actually was the singer on a couple songs. But If you like this you should check out his band after this, Truly, they were awesome as well.

FRIDAY NIGHT SESSIONS

*Soundgarden* *Flower*SST records became the incubator of Grunge, before Seattle's *C/Z Records* and *Sub Pop Records* put out the two EP albums that defined the sound.Sub Pop Records was started by Bruce Pavitt, who attended the same High School as Kim Thayil (Soundgarden Guitarist), and eventually became the core of Grunge in Seattle.Your anecdotal host, +Andrew Coffman #fns #aru #aruflannel #soundgarden

I really prefer Cornell's solo work to this.

fuck, this song...this band... why am I growing up in the wrong era?In all honesty, for all the credit Nirvana gets for being the definition of a generation, it seems like Soundgarden was the best band to come out of the 90s. i wouldn't know cos i didn't grow up then, but i can say with conviction that this may be the greatest band of all time.

It took me a second to figure that out. At first i was like, "...That's what grunge is." And then, facepalm.

Man that's unfortunate, I live in Canada and only HMV has the CD for $21.99. Plus the "Flower" single (with "Head Injury" and "Toy Box") is $13.99 and it's not even available in any store. Talk about uneven distribution!

They've since released this on the Telephantasm DVD for fans to enjoy. Thanks for uploading!

No worries, you were only 11. Now if you were 14-15 at the time, then you'd need a little more explaining to do XD

1988. I was 11. There's no way my immature mind could have understood the majesty of this track, or the god like prowess of Soundgarden back then. So I forgive myself for missing out on it.
