I am therefore going to deprive myself of your wonderful company for several days - maybe longer - by turning off all Notifications for the duration. I've even promised myself to resist poking that conveeeeenient little red G+ icon that boldly sits, unencumbered by folders or anything else, on my browser's bookmark bar.My fingers won't be detached from the keyboard (else I'd bleed to death), but I will be telling all eight of them, plus the thumbs and Dragon (the software, not the fire-breather) to Pay Attention to Real Work. Do you hear me, Person Whose Book I Should Have Finished Editing By Now? Do you hear me, Persons Who Still Await the Delivery of My Own Legacy Project? (Not to mention, Do You Hear Me, Bank Statement and Bills to Pay and Insurance Matters to Pursue and Medical Appointments to Catch Up On...ad infinitum, ad nauseum.)I'll pull the plug some time tomorrow (Wednesday, U.S. time).
