At this point I feel like people watch these guys so they can do everything they possibly can to find something wrong. If you don't like his drumming than don't watch the video. Or comment on every single comment saying how bad this guy is.

No hate on the guy, he's good, but that "hand on snare when not playing" lots of drummers of the genre do, drives me insane whenever i see it! lol

Everyone saying that his crashes sound the same are obviously tone deaf.I can hear it clear as day. It's subtle, but it's there.

He has good taste in cymbals for sure.

cymbals of the same model all sound slightly different, it's not that unusual to use more than one

3 crashes can sound different, with different choke on the tightness of the screw....Take a look at Alex Shelnutt's Crash compared to most...he has it tightened way tight...sounds way different than say, James Cassells crash.

this guy has no idea what he's talking about. 3 of the same crashes?

Spencer Jacob Holmes

I'll never realize why he has THREE of the same crashes...

"I use all 18" Crashes, they all sound different though." No, they really don't.

Listen to songs like "To Move On Is To Grow," and "Dreams." On those songs, he throws in a lot of cool licks on the splash cymbals, and some of his fills are just insane. Unfortunately, he's completely gone away from that, and now he sounds like a generic metalcore drummer.
